Online Ticket Sales – Terms & Conditions

 

1. About These Terms

  1. These Terms & Conditions apply to all tickets purchased online for Deeside Dragons Ice Hockey Club (\"the Club\") home fixtures and events.
  2. By completing an online ticket purchase, you confirm that you have read, understood, and accepted these Terms & Conditions.
  3. These Terms apply in addition to your statutory rights under UK law.
  4. Separate Terms & Conditions apply to Season Pass holders and Season Pass related benefits.

2. Digital Tickets & Delivery

  1. Tickets purchased online are issued digitally and must be presented for entry, either printed or displayed on a mobile device.
  2. It is the purchaser\'s responsibility to ensure the ticket is accessible at the time of entry.
  3. The Club is not responsible for entry refusal caused by unreadable, damaged, duplicated, or altered tickets.
  4. The Club reserves the right to invalidate any ticket that is duplicated, shared, resold without authorisation, or obtained through misuse of discount schemes.

3. Distance Selling & Right to Cancel

  1. Under the Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013, tickets for leisure activities with a specific date or period of performance are exempt from the 14 day cooling off period.
  2. This means that online ticket purchases are non refundable once completed, except as outlined in Sections 5 and 6 below.

4. Fixture Details

  1. All fixtures are sold subject to confirmation by the relevant league and governing body.
  2. The Club reserves the right to amend fixture details, including face off time or opponent, where required.
  3. Changes to fixture details do not entitle the ticket holder to a refund, provided the fixture still takes place.

5. Postponed or Rearranged Fixtures

  1. If a fixture is postponed, abandoned, or rescheduled for any reason, including ice conditions, adverse weather, safety concerns, or league decisions, all tickets will remain valid for the rearranged fixture.
  2. The rearranged date and time will be published on the Club\'s official website and social media channels as soon as reasonably practicable.
  3. Refunds will not be issued solely due to postponement or rescheduling, in line with UK consumer law, where the event is intended to take place at a later date.
  4. If a fixture is abandoned after play has commenced, the ticket will remain valid for the rearranged fixture unless otherwise stated by the Club.

6. Cancelled Fixtures

  1. If a fixture is cancelled and not rescheduled, the Club will provide details of any refund or credit entitlement.
  2. Any refund issued will be limited to the face value of the ticket only.
  3. Booking, processing, or transaction fees are non refundable.

7. No Refunds for Non Attendance

  1. Tickets are sold for a specific fixture, subject to rearrangement.
  2. The Club cannot offer refunds or exchanges for non attendance due to personal circumstances, including but not limited to illness, travel disruption, work commitments, or change of mind.

8. Discounts, Offers & Eligibility

  1. Any ticket discounts, promotional offers, or special pricing are issued at the sole discretion of the Club and are subject to availability and eligibility.
  2. Discounts are non transferable and may only be used by the person to whom they are issued.
  3. The Club reserves the right to withdraw, amend, or restrict any discount or offer at any time without notice.
  4. Discounts must be applied at the point of online purchase only. Discounts will not be available on the night of the game or through any in person sales method.
  5. The Club reserves the right to cancel any ticket obtained through misuse of discounts, unauthorised sharing of offers, or breach of eligibility.
  6. Separate discount processes and restrictions apply to Season Pass holders in accordance with the Season Pass Terms & Conditions.

9. Behaviour, Safety & Admission

  1. Admission is subject to compliance with venue rules, safety instructions, and Club regulations.
  2. The Club reserves the right to refuse entry or remove any spectator whose behaviour is considered unsafe, disruptive, abusive, or damaging to the Club, its volunteers, players, sponsors, or supporters.
  3. No refund will be issued in cases of refusal or removal due to misconduct.

10. Limitation of Liability

  1. Attendance is at the ticket holder\'s own risk.
  2. The Club shall not be liable for loss, damage, or injury to personal property unless caused by the Club\'s negligence.
  3. Nothing in these Terms limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence or any liability that cannot be excluded under UK law.

11. Data Protection

  1. Personal data collected during the online purchase process will be handled in accordance with UK GDPR and the Club\'s Privacy Policy.
  2. Data will be used solely for ticketing, communication, operational, and security purposes.

12. Governing Law

  1. These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of England and Wales.
  2. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
